NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER & REPENTANCE
If My people who are called by My Name will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their evil ways… I will hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14
A DAY FOR BELIEVERS TO COME BEFORE GOD IN PRAYER & REPENTANCE FOR THEMSELVES AND FOR AMERICA
STEP 1 – EACH COME BEFORE GOD ACCORDING TO 2 CHR. 7:14
PRAY – Individually, one on one, humble ourselves, seek His face, His presence, and His will for our lives.)
REPENT - To search their ways, confess their sins, sins of commission & omission, & appoint this day for making the definite decisions needed, & to take the first definitive step of repentance, the first step of action. Removing from our lives what must go and to take up and rise to the calling of God – Get right with God & consecrate oneself to the higher calling..,
STEP 2 – PRAY FOR GOD’S PEOPLE & REVIVAL
Pray for the Church, for His people, confessing our collective sins of omission and commission, and praying for God’s hand, power, Spirit, and will for all His people – That the church put away sin and what must go and rise up to its calling - Pray for Revival!
STEP 3 – PRAY FOR AMERICA
Pray and Intercede for America – Confessing our national sins, of commission and omission, praying for God’s mercy, power, awakening, repentance, and revival.
HOW?
INDIVIDUALLY - Wherever you are, dedicate this day to real prayer, real seeking His face, and real repentance, real change, and real intercession – and if your led to FAST, by all means do.
CORPORATELY – Churches, Bible Studies, Prayer Groups, Ministries – Congregants, tell your pastors, pastors, tell your congregation, share with your people, call them to be part, prepare them, & on 9/11/13, open your ministry and dedicate your ministry to prayer – specifically for these things, including Wednesday night gatherings.
SPREAD THE WORD
The only One truly orchestrating this is the Holy Spirit – So spread the word to every pastor, believer, minister, and ministry leader you know and ask them to do the same, and to observe this day however they are led.
PREPARING FOR THE DAY
Starting praying now for God’s purposes to be fulfilled – Special Resources are available for individuals, churches, or small groups including a special Study Course geared for this day – The Harbinger & The Harbinger Companion/ Study Guide & The Isaiah 9:10 Judgment (DVD) available everywhere – Pray!
SPECIAL EVENTS & GATHERINGS
Feel free to plan and hold special gatherings, assemblies, prayer walks, media events, or other events on this day. There will also be a special gathering in New York City in the morning of 9/11, and a special gathering in Washington DC later in the day – More details will follow.
